Machine Sewing Classes

Any of these times are for Any Skill Level and ages 7+!

  • If you are a total beginner you don’t have to bring anything to your first class! We start by teaching you how to properly use the machines. Then you sew our beginners projects which give you fundamental skills so we can move on to projects of your choosing!

  • All further projects require students to bring their own fabric, thread etc. that is needed to complete that specific project.

  • Machine Class is $50 for a 2 hour class.

Every Weekday unless otherwise stated we are holding Machine Sewing Classes:

{10-12 pm} {1-3 pm} {4-6 pm}

Tuesday & wednesday Night Adult Class: {7-9pm}

Saturdays: {10-12pm} {1-3 pm}. {4-6pm}

Thursday Nights 7-9pm are for Intermediate level students who have already completed the beginner projects.

Please only book if you meet that qualification.


Hand Sewing Classes

In our Hand Sewing class you can either learn hand embroidery or hand sewing felt plushies.

Crochet Corner

Come to our Crochet Corner for crocheters of all levels!

  • If you are a beginner, come and learn the basics to get you started on your crochet journey! Students will work on projects to become comfortable with basic stitches and develop an ability to read crochet patterns. You do not have to bring anything to your first class if you are a beginner.

  • You can purchase a hook for $5 if you would like to take it home with you.

  • $45 For a two hour class

Knitting Korner

Knitters of all levels welcome!

  • At StitchSpace we allow you to schedule your classes one at a time, but we recommend students sign up for a series of 2-4 classes. In this series of courses you will learn the skills needed to make your own scarves, hats, bags and dishcloths to name a few.

  • If you are a beginner, in class one you will learn how to cast on and form the knit stitch (garter stitch) and how to cast off.
    In class two you will learn the purl stitch and if time permits the stockinette stitch.
    Class three will be about increasing and decreasing.
    In class four we can begin working on a knitting project of your choice using the skills we’ve learned in the previous classes.

  • Along with instruction from our knitting teacher Carly Chubak, beginners will receive practice yarn to continue working on their skills at their leisure. Starter needles will be available for $5 or you are welcome to bring your own.

  • $45 For a two hour class

Quilting Classes

Whether you are looking to start learning how to quilt for the first time or you are just looking for some help on a specific project, Alyssa can help. She learned to quilt from her mother in the year 2000 and has been going nonstop ever since. She has been the president of the Valley Modern Quilt Guild since 2020 and she loves sharing her passion for all types of quilting.   • Must have basic sewing machine knowledge to sign up: You can sign up for one class or become a regular.

  • If you have a specific quilt you would like to work on you are welcome to bring your materials for that!

  • If you are a looking for a place to start, Alyssa recommends the Disappearing Nine Patch Quilt Project. Below is the information for what to bring to work on that project. You are encouraged to cut your squares before coming to class so you can get right to sewing when you get here.

  • You can book an Individual class for $50 or purchase a Quilting Class Package for $180 which gives you 4 classes that do not expire
