In this workshop, we will go over the basics of Italian punto in aria needle lace. This literally means “stitches in the air,” and is one of the earliest styles of needlelace, developing out of cutwork and drawn thread embroidery in the 1500s. Join in learning this historical craft and make your own sample of lace using only a needle, thread, and a fabric base!
